Metrics

WorkSpaces Manager Performance Monitor and CloudWatch Log Group are required to extend the available metrics beyond the default ones provided by AWS.

If the WSM Performance Monitor agent is installed you will be able to view the following metrics.

Metrics

You can view the CPU and memory usage of the user's WorkSpace. This view now includes Live Stats, a new feature that displays real-time CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network activity - giving instant visibility into WorkSpace performance.

The available disk space for the root and user volumes is displayed regardless of whether the agent is installed.

WorkSpace Activity

You can view user activity times and dates of a user by clicking on Activity. Clicking "Export All" allows you to download a CSV file containing the full user activity log for the selected WorkSpace.

Processes

You can view the new Startup Metrics that shows detailed login performance breakdowns, including profile load times, group policy application, and shell readiness to help identify delays in user logins quickly and accurately. Top 5 active processes on the WorkSpace that exceed resource usage thresholds.

Clicking a process name opens a detailed view of its usage history.

In-Session Latency

This shows the in-session latency of the session over a defined period.

User Location

You can view the approximate location (based on the ISP provider) of a user by selecting the "User Location" Tab.
