Applications

Last updated 10 months ago

This allows users to Self-Service their applications in their dashboard, if properly configured via Numecent Cloudpaging and products such as FlexApp, APP-V, etc. You can enable them here.

Some options that can be configured here are:

  • Application Group Prefix: this is the prefix of your application distribution groups with whatever product you are using (FlexApp, App-V, etc).

  • Cloudpaging Applications: if you want to use Numecent Cloudpaging applications with WorkSpaces, you can enable this feature on here.

  • Cloudpaging Username: this is where you enter the account name that you use for Numecent Cloudpaging.

  • Enable Dynamic Apps: this is where you can enable AppStream Dynamic Apps (which is an application framework providing API operations within an AppStream 2.0 streaming instance that you can use to build a dynamic app provider).

  • Dynamic App File Path: this is where you define the application path, which is, by default, D:\AppStreamApps.

  • AppStream Dynamic App Group: this is where you define the group that will have dynamic apps file generated.

  • AS Group Context: this is the LDAP OU for locating AD Groups for AppStream.
